Rilatine and dopamine, anxiety and tension.

Posted by MrBrice on January 20, 2007, at 18:27:09

Hey guys,

I'm using rilatine now together with paroxetine and sulpiride.
The rilatine is great, meaning that it helps me cope with the pace of everyday life. It gives me an extra boost and that's exactely what i needed

BUT

A problem i've allready had for a long time remains: i have this enormous anxiety. I can't chill down and watch TV with a friend or girlfriend, because I just can't focus on the darn tellie, there's allways a weird tension in the athmosphere that is really not pleasant at all.
Because of this tension, silences are allways avoided by me and i try to hide it by talking as much as I can and thus not letting the tension get the upper hand.

Now the questions:
Is there a way to keep the dopamine that's caused by the rilatine, but loose the tension? In other words, is there a med that's pretty similar to rilatine, but that doestn't cause the inrease of adrenaline, so i can relax and still have the benefits of the dopamine...?
Are there people here that have had the same tension i am talking about, and that were able to overcome it somehow?

Thanks a bunch!

greetings,
Brice
