I have manic-depression, and lithium has served me well. You do gain weight on it, but not as much as on other stabilizers, and with the benzos, the weight goes up even more.Parnate - that's an MAOI- right? Perhaps younger people with a low blood pressure may not be as much at risk as people in their 50s.
