You didn't say why you were contemplating this addition, but I'd assume for sleep promotion? If that's the case, I hope you consider trimipramine (Surmontil), 25 mg. It has less hangover than the other two (in my experience), and has nearly the same histaminic bang as does doxepin. Amitryptiline is somewhat weaker than the other two, in that regard.
