Actually I once asked my doctor about people with synesthesia, and not all people with that condition appreciate having it. It can be too much input or unwanted input, not unlike my somatiform disorder, in which the past 5 years I have been unable to filter out bright lights at night and contrast and a host of unpleasant things due to some anxiety condition. Some attempt to correct it with medication and therapy because it is too distracting, just like my condition.

I would hesitate to put any form of epilepsy on there -- I dont think people particularly enjoy the complex partial seizures which can render them unable to drive. I understand the fascination with neurology, but I would skip that one from the list.
