Using Toperimate in pregnancy

I have been using the AED Toperimate with excellent results. However, I am now trying to fall pregnant and my neurologist wants to take me off the drug due to lack of conclusive clinical trials. Has anyone had any experience of using this drug during pregnancy. Information on both good and bad effects is welcome.
