In reply to Parnate tolerance, anyone?, posted by halcyondaze on February 20, 2007, at 16:02:01
I don t know what cubybear's dose is, but I do know that she has been taking it for 20 years - Parnate, that is. I've never heard mention of tolerance in her posts.
I have heard taht one way to augment parnate is with lithium.
Best of luck,
Diane
> One of my biggest fears in taking Parnate is that I will develop a tolerance to it. I am currently taking 120 mg/day but how long will I be stable? I am not used to being stable and I'm afraid that it will end.

I know I can always raise the dose but I'm already at a high dose and don't know how far I can push it - is this designed to be a "forever" medication? I haven't heard much from people who have been on the same dose for long periods of time.
