I think with a lot of neuroleptics low-doses tend to speed up reaction time a little bit--even haldol does this--which would indicate some sort of dopamine agonism and possible antidepressant effect. With Abilify, which is very high potency (@ 30mgs/day, 90+% of D2 receptors are occupied--if it weren't for the partial agonism, that would cause major EPS), I think its particularly pronounced b/c of the partial agonism and the effects on serotonin.
WHat else are you taking?

If you've been taking other antipsychotics, even at low doses, you may now have a lot more dopamine hanging around than before...maybe thats part of it?
