5 HTP Supplements... weight gain?

Hi...

I'm wondering if anyone here has used 5 HTP supplements for depression. Do they help with depression? If I gained weight with other AD's... Wellbutrin, Paxil, Effexor, Buspar, is it likely that this would cause the same reaction?
