Last night my damn smoke alarm started to 'BIP'. It was running out of the stupid batteries at three in the morning.
Since the 'BIP' 'BIP' 'BIP' sounds like fingurenails raking down a calkboard to me, I decided to try to rip it of the cieling. I did, and I took out the battery. Threw it somewhere, and the DAMN 'BIP'. 'BIP'. 'BIP' started again from the ceiling.
I suppose its a electric battery back up sort. The little microphone thing was somewhere in the wiring hole. I wanted to clear the wires so I touched two and ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!! Black in the left, red in the right. So f*cking stupid of me!!! But the noise drives me insane, I didnt think. Then I thought of the electric box thinggy after I was shocked. 'BIP' stopped, and I could think straight again.
I felt like someone had hit my 'reset' button. My head was like a radio. Just so weird. Getting shocked and having the 'BIP' stop weighed itself out. But I think I have a wire phobia now.
Anyone else have their 'reset button' pushed when shocked? (it doesnt have to be in a situation is idiotic as mine). The feeling was sort of unexplainable.
