Hello,
I'm curious if anyone who had success with Depakote also had success with Zonegran as a mood stabilizer. I was on Depakote years ago and was recently put back on it due to a manic episode. It does seem to work pretty well at leveling me out (1500mg) but the weight gain factor has come back into play. I've read a number of good comments about Zonegran and if anything it's likely to help me _lose_ weight. I'm wondering if anyone who's taken Zonegran as a mood stabilizer could vouch as to it's effectiveness since I have a feeling it may be a hard sell to my pdoc :(
BTW I'm also on Remeron 45mg, Lithium 600mg (low but higher dosages couldn't keep me from mania), and Trilifon 32mg (which should decrease next month).
Thanks in advance for any feedback on Zonegran.
