Depersonalization when starting an AD

Is it common to have trouble reading and feel kind of out of it when starting a med? This is very concerning as I am having trouble following what is going on around me. This is so frustrating as at least I was aware what was going on around me when I was off meds and didn't sleep well. Maybe I should quit all meds? What a downer. It is hard to have hope when one is struggling.
