Me too. Sometimes I feel as though an hour has passed when its been only 15 minutes. I describe this to my doc as the 'tick..........tocks'.

Sometimes I'll hide clock faces to not obsess about it. If the clock actually does make tickings and tockings, I just take the battery out. (much easier than a smoke alarm I might add)

When I'm out with a friend hiking, shopping, having lunch or just being entertained, like you said, things feel like they whirl by. And Im less prone to depression.

When I get frustrated with time I tend to smoke. Not that I recommened that people start to smoke. I listen to music alot to keep time in my head without clocks. Around 5 minutes a song, and I find it makes me less edgey about thinking about time, while still keeping time.
