Switching from Emsam patch to Selegiline pills

Hi,

I have been on Emsam for 3 weeks. I haven't noticed any affects yet. My problem is every couple of days a corner of the patch peals off and I don't think I am getting all the medicine. It is very frustrating because I am so depressed and want it to kick in. I am thinking about switching to selegiline pills instead. What is the difference (besides the way the medicine gets into your body)? Is Emsam safer? Is it better for your liver? Are they equally effective? I am scared that the selegiline pills are bad for me. I would appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this.
