I hope your trip to the PDOC is productive. For me, the best meds for social anxiety are Nardil augmented with clonazepam. They both affect GABA. My main problem was the massive weight gain on Nardil, which I haven't experienced on Parnate. I had my MD double my clonazepam to 2mg when I swithed to Parnate, since this med does not affect GABA. I believe it is the GABA that helps with social anxiety.
