My response to xanax has been a marked not a small ad effect, after taking it my mood lifts dramatically for a while in between doses of (5mg If I remember correctly) twice daily, I know that is a short acting benzo, I was on it for months until I developed a tolerance, my pdoc did not want to increase the dose so we switched to Clonazapam amd then Diazapam but only the Xanax has the ad effect for me, hope this is clearer.
