Just curious if you have tried tianeptine (Stablon)?
It is a tricyclic but devoid of cardiotoxicity and promotes hippocampal neurogenesis. :-)

Nortriptyline (Pamelor), being a second generation TCA, has less cardiovascular effects than imipramine. I'm not sure though if it has less effects (or more) than maprotiline.

Every TCA I've tried (except for tianeptine) has caused my heart to beat faster when standing and to "skip beats" when lying down. I had a hard time sleeping due to my heart acting up when I'd lie down. When I quit the old-school TCAs my heart no longer bothered me in that way.
