I'm trying propranolol for my tremors

Posted by Deneb on June 9, 2007, at 23:51:21

So, my pdoc and I think my tremors aren't caused by my meds now because I don't always have a tremor. If it were my meds causing them, wouldn't I have tremors all the time?

I've noticed that I get really bad tremors when I'm distraught, so maybe my tremors result from emotional distress (sometimes, but not always).

Anyways, I'm going to try taking 40 mg propranolol as needed for when my tremors get really bad or when I'm trembling with fear.

I had some tremors tonight. They weren't severe, but I wanted to see if my new med worked so I took one. I haven't noticed any more tremors, but I dunno if that's b/c they went away by themselves or b/c of the med.

I dunno if it's placebo effect, but I feel just a bit lightheaded and nauseous. I think next time I'll only take 20 mg.

Anyone else use propranolol for tremors or anxiety? How does it work for you?
