"The first of your posts tonight referred to people "making" you do things. The sad reality is that no one can "make" you feel something. You can choose to modify your reaction, you can choose to learn some more effective coping mechanisms, you can choose to learn some self-soothing techniques -- or you can choose to continue doing what you've been doing. How's that working for you, by the way?
One thing I've noticed, Matt, is that you have a pattern of getting very active and agitated at night. That's something you can control, if you choose to. I think that might be a good idea for you, because if it does help reduce your distress, you'll likely feel less distressed. (I'm too tired to try to communicate. It's still good advice.)"
i bet to differ, Racer.......when someone is having mental issues, they don't view the world the way they would if they weren't stressed out.
you can let people make you do things when you aren't at your best. most all of us have had that happen at one time or another.and your "Dr. Phil" question is rather ludicrous. are you a therapist? he's barely one and asking someone that question is sarcastic.
Matt has problems. yes, he does. so do you and so do i.
getting on a soapbox is dangerous, Racer. you could fall off. pat
