That was a very long time ago,and not many sessions,i can only go by what i see today.And what that was is this.....even if he ends up not being able to help me,i believe it will be because he made it clear why he doesent see my view and i his,he unlike soooooo many local docs of recent actualy listened and invited any input i brought to the conversation,he was not hesitant to simply say hes rusty on maois,rather than say oh they are just too dangerous,he said the truth.
He also leaned in,and asked questions as if he were digging his brain with each answer,simply put i felt a genuine care,opposed to many others who never or hardly look me in the eyes,barly let me speak,and dont feel they need to include logic in explaining there view of what might be wrong with me.
Dr Parker went into deep detail speaking of what could be causing me to feel the way i do,it was a give and take conversation,he even gave me a reason as to why i respond to horridly to ssris,it was a pleasure seeing him.
