I think the bottom line is money in mental
health care. In depression, suicide prevention
would require costly care and institutionalization
at least on an out-patient basis. That would
be nice-- drop in centres to chat if you have
desperate problems, funded by the government.
But our priorities are not there. And the caretaker does end up being a relative, which can be very stressful in some families already burdened with problems.I don't think that things are so bad for me, i'm
just ranting because i feel my efforts have been in vain. But on the other hand, i may have actually helped.Thanks for the nice post.
