Trileptal and lip licking...don't laugh too hard

I have been taking Trileptal for a month or so now. I have developed a huge problem with compulsively licking my lips. I can't stop doing it. My lips are so chapped and it's driving me crazy...well crazier. Has anyone experienced something similar on Trileptal or any other medication? WIll it ever go away.?
