I would kind of have to agree with the above. I am taking a risk. I have been diagnosed with similar illness to my mother.
It has been a illness passed allong my mothers side. My mother has attempted suicide.
Anyhow, I am taking a risk by not treating it with drugs. Doctors tell me that without meds I will relapse and just get worse. While not everbody does as poorly on drugs as my mother, she has significanlty deteriorated.
Nobody on my mothers side lived less than 85, yet my mother is almost senile at 60. She can barely walk, can't even prepare her own food. Anyone in my family recognizes that the drugs have been her downfall, and that they will be the end of her.
Am taking a risk by not going that route? I do find relif with alternatives, and hope that they take less of a toll on my brain and body as meds have my mom.
