Maybe it's more of a mixed state? irritability and agitation? Definitely don't go for a drive if you've had your evening meds. Maybe a cup of caffeine free tea and a boring movie? better to fall asleep on the couch than to not get any sleep (just keep the volume low and room lights to a minimum.
I'm going to try to go to bed now, myself...try being the operative word.
