Hi Phillipa, I noticed a slight increase in anxiety and depression for the first 2 or 3 days after adding Provigil to my Emsam. I compensated with a little Xanax.
After those initial days, there was a marked improvement in original levels of both anxiety and depression.
I hope that makes sense. What I mean is, the Provigil ultimately helped focus, concentration, and motivation, plus there was a lessening of anxiety and depression.
It seems likely that these benefits are due to the Emsam combination, and that with Provigil alone I may have had a totally different experience?
