In some ways I can identify and understand what your going through. Sometimes after years of suffefing with depression and the gloom and doom days and nights it might befall on us, we begin to suppress our innermost sense of who we are on the inside underneath depression.
Sometimes we even become the disease, only identifying with it's symptoms,side effects and medicines given to us for our condition. Then suddenly, our soul begins to open and our mind is awakened with the help of our pdoc,meds,family or whatever support system and we begin to face the remission of depression.
All of a sudden were faced with the fear of living without what we've known to be a part of us for so long. Were forced to start living and exploring life outside of the four walls of depression, in hopes of living life on life's terms as we see fit. Yes, that's scary and often times, depression may raise it's ugly head but I'll use the saying that's used in AAmeetings around the world..take it one day at a time 24hours a day. Many say life is short but I say life is the longest thing we'll ever do, so you have plenty time to keep at it till you find your true happiness which lies in YOU!!!
