Re: How long does tianeptine take to work?

I posted a follow-up in my tianeptine thread. I started rapid-cycling on day 3 and by day 9 I was no longer depressed. From everything I've read, both anecdotes and studies, people usually START to get effects between days 7 and 14 and a lot of people claim that you don't get the full effect for 4-6 weeks.

> Some posters here have said that you can tell within days whether tianeptine will work for you. Other information I have suggests that it could take weeks. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have severe chronic treatment resistant BPII depression and the tianeptine is my last hope. I'm already on Lamictal which is was the only thing that has been consistently helpful but it's by no means enough.
