Well, I've only been trying Luvox (fluvoxamine) for a couple of days, but for me, it's not sedating, but everybody's different.
I've tried all sorts of things. I'll keep an open mind about this. At least it doesn't have immediately unacceptable side-effects like most of them do.
About your doc and repeatedly trying AP's and not being open to try Luvox. IMO, if you try a couple/few of a particular class of med and it doesn't work, it makes perfect sense to keep trying different things.
I'm lucky in that my pdoc will always let me try stuff that seems at least reasonable to try.
I think some pdocs have severe ego issues and can't take any suggestion from patients, no matter how reasonable.
