Guanfacine

Apparantely it's received an "approvable letter from the FDA".

Does this mean it's definitely entering the market, and if so when?

Any thoughts or experiences? The theory seems there. As someone who can't tolerate stimulants or Strattera or Wellbutrin or fish oil I'd be grateful to find something even 50-60% as effective as the stimulants.

There's a sense that guanfacine is more sedating and therefore better treats hyperactivity as opposed to inattention, but there seem to be good reasons why it would be beneficial cognitivally, and perhaps have anxiolytic effects:
