Anyone see the program on bipolar on Oprah today? There was an Irish singer who'd shaved her head and seems like she might have some kind of weird side effect from her drugs, she kept scratching and picking, (maybe she was just nervous) but who claimed that her meds made her feel better within the first half hour of taking them!!! Didn't really understand why they'd even diagnosed her as bipolar since all her symptoms were depression. The other guest was a man with an overbearing mother who'd been trying different meds for 8 years without success. The bipolar expert assured him they would find the right one. After 8 years? This is Oprah's 2nd program in 2 weeks on bipolar, wonder why it's so popular all of a sudden. Personally, I'm expecting the drug companies are planning a big surge in advertising for bipolar drugs.... Cecilia
