Lamictal increases my depression.
Yes, I have MS and that comes with depression. I do not take any meds for my MS. I have the relapsing remitting kind. When I have an episode I go on steroids.
I take tryptophan.
I've only been on this dosage for a really short time. I guess I am not expecting it to work and I am trying to think ahead because I am so desperate.
Yes, and eating would help, but I can't do that right now.

> Let's see, what was your reaction to Lamictal? There are the new prescription formulations of methylfolate, which are supposed to be quite helpful -- I take one, MetanX, which has other B vitamins, too. Others have had good things to say about Deplin, which is another option. I think you've augmented with tryptophan? Eating helps -- it really does make a difference, no matter how much some of us hate to admit that.

> You mentioned that you have MS, too? I didn't know that, because my guess is that it's very much involved in your continuing depression. Are you taking any sort of treatment for it? Many of the substances used to treat it can have psychiatric effects. And no treatment can also include psychiatric effects. Regardless, I just read something about treating MS, and will look that up.
