The only instant relief ones for me were when first went on benzos. They work right away. Since they say SSRI's do the same a lot of docs don't prescribe the benzos. Old but they have a history of no bad things happening like lets say an atypical antipsychotic with diabetes, weight gain, even sometime TD. I tend to agree with you. For what it's worth only benzos have ever helped me if an SSRI added in small doses upped the benzo by the doc. Phillipa
