You probably felt the good effects of increased dopamine stimulation. Very often when that happens, as with stimulants, the receptors develope tolerance to the dopamine and even though the stimulation is still going on you do not feel it anymore.

It could be that after taking it a few days enough of it built up in your system to block the dopamine receptors somewhat, so as to blunt the stimulation. If that were the case, then 12.5mg of 25mg might work better.

And keep in mind, all these drugs work through longterm changes in the brain. You may not feel that initial burst you did in the first few days, but it is possible if you stay on amisulpride for a couple months you will see progressive improvement with time.

Any of the above scenarios could be at play.
