Yes it was a good decision to take zopiclone. I took it early around 7pm, and slept for 12 hours.
I had not slept well the night before and was very uneasy about the prospect of two consecutive nights of insomnia esp before a test.
Cognatively it wasn't as bad as I thought. *Definately* not as bad as the cognative impairment of a full night of insomnia.
The problem for me is that before tests, I tend to want to try sleeping sober, which ends up going later and later, at which point I end up taking a sleeping pill too late (early).
I will probably get rebound insomnia tonight, but I don't really care as I don't have a test tomorrow.
Anyhow, short answer is that zopiclone was definately usefull.
I'll be waiting for other Z drugs to become available in Canada.
