With whatever meds you are currently taking you don't appear to describe anhedonic symptoms. Why would you want to take something else?

The idea with meds is to restore ballence. What you are describing sounds pretty intense. You also need to be truthful with your doctor.

If he denied you trivestal in the first place, don't you think he'd see through a second attempt with new approach?

If I advise you to get help for the hypomania, I know this just comes across as somebody who is trying to spoil your fun.

I'm just thinking from the perspective of the body and mind. They both need time to recharge.
If you look for ballence it would probably be more sustainable in the long run.

Hypomania can turn on you though, its almost impossible to control in the long run.
