I was just told by my sleep specialist to take Amitriptyline because I don't tolerate SSRI's very well. It's for hypnogogic and hypnopompic hallucinations and sleep paralysis which have come back with a vengence since I stopped zoloft for depression. I'm sick of taking drugs that are so harsh on my body. I'm glad I found this post because I don't think I'll take it now. He told me to go get it from my GP
