I take trileptal (600 mg in the evening) and I have never had dental pain, but I can definitely feel when it kicks in in my gums -- a kind of relaxed feeling, I suppose, which is weird b/c there is no muscle there to relax... it almost feels like a slight anesthesia. I don't know if this is related or not.
