It's called the SSRI Apathy Syndrome, and it is pretty common. There are plenty of people who feel just great on SSRIs, but I think there are even more people than that who notice they feel flat and emotionless. And even though doctors see it all the time, day in and day out, they seem almost oblivious to it, almost blaming it on incomplete response or part of the depression still lingering. It's not that. It's SSRI induced apathy. Too much serotonin quashing out the roles of norepinephrine and dopamine.
