I just wanted to thank everyone who replied to my post. My pdoc is so patient and understanding, I just worry sometimes that he may think I am not trying hard enough or something. The only time I hear frustration is when I say you must be sick of me. He always reassures me that he is there to help me, etc. My previous pdoc was quite arrogant and nasty, not to mention that he would fall asleep during appointments (good for the self-esteem, eh?).
Anyway, I spoke to my pdoc by phone and felt much better after. I can be a bit neurotic at times when it comes to thinking people may be upset with me or will abandon me (childhood sh*t).
So, thanks again. It really meant a lot to hear others views and experiences and to receive some reassurance.
All the best to you all.
