Hi wowee,
You sound very similar to me. Until I get my two or three cups of coffee in the morning, I am generally in a depressed mood. I've talked to my MD about adding modafinil or methylphenidate, but so far no go. Caffeine is a fairly strong stimulant that I don't seem to develop a lot of tolerance to. It is addicting; if I go a day with no coffee, the next day I will have a splitting headache. And I never get headaches.I don't think you have to worry about caffeine being detrimental to the positive affects of Nardil. There are actually many studies showing a positive affect of caffeine.
Be well,

> I'd very much appreciate hearing people's experiences of drinking coffee or other sources of caffeine with Nardil. I'm not asking from a safety perspective (I know it's safe), I'm interested in hearing opinions on whether this is generally a good or bad idea.

> Caffeine certainly lifts up my mood and can be particularly helpful in the mornings when I can sometimes be a bit down despite my 75mg/day of Nardil and is absolutely necessary if I have some evening committment when I would otherwise be passed out from Nardil fatigue.

> Is there any chance that over time caffeine could be detrimental to the positive effects of Nardil or should I not worry about this.
