Insomnia

Hi all,
I had a quick question for you folks.
I have been struggling with insomnia on and off for about 10 years. Currently, I am taking 300mg of Effexor for GAD and depression. The effexor has seemed to help a lot with the depression, just not the anxiety so much.
I am seeing a new pdoc tomorrow, and was curious if anyone has any suggestions. In the past, I have tried Elavil and Trazodone(Desiryl). I have taken Ambein in the short term before, and been on ativan and xanax sporatically.
I am so tired of not being able to sleep...
