Yeah, I second that. When you look into many of the study protocols they turn out to be rather strict: no other meds, ramp up at a fixed rate, ramp down at a fixed rate. I dunno about other TRD people with serious problems out there, but I'm one delicate individual, and I wouldn't be able to comply. So I have to ask myself, what type of people are they really getting? They may be TRD in some respect, but I have my doubts as to how serious the conditions are.

Studies of severely depressed TRD people are difficult since it is hard for them to comply to the protocols that would make it a decent study.
