So then I went to 60. AGain the improvement came back. This went on for five months till I got to 120 mg. Which was too much. I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin. And it wasn't working very well at that dosage even. So I slowly tapered off it. And tried Zyprexa instead. But I couldn't tolerate the Zyprexa so I went back on Geodon but at a alower dose. I now take 20mg when I get up in the morning, 20mg around midday and 40mg at night. It doesn't work like it used to but when I have accidentally skipped a dose, I have gotten quite depressed within 6-7 hours. So I stay on it. Maybe now that I am on Nardil and not depressed any more, I can taper off the Geodon. I am going to wait till I am completely stable on nardil first though and I am also in the process of weaning off Klonopin and switching to Valium so don't want to make too many changes at once. So I will probably wait about tryiing to get off the Geodon.

This leaves more dopamine available to go to the third dopamine receptor. That's a basic simplistic anwer. Probably SLS or someone could go into great detail about how it works but my answer is how it works in a nutshell.
