> I haven't gotten on the Wellbutrin yet; just something I'm considering...did your doc mention any interactions w/ the Abilify?
nope>Like, did you have more neuroleptic side effects (I note you mentioned more shaky hands--do you think that was a neuroleptic thing or a stimulant thing?)
Perhaps a bit of both? I had some EPS when I was on seroquel 300mg for 4 mos. That went away when I quit seroquel (then geodon, now abilify). The shaky hands were more like a trembling than a tremor, sorry hard to describe, but the shaky hands were more like that which accompanies caffeine overdose than EPS.
> Basically, I'm trying to keep things simple, but still up my energy levels. Do you think adding wellbutrin for "energy" is a bad call? I'm not *actually* depressed, just feeling anergic and all the coffee in the world doesn't seem sufficient to fix it. I thought about Provigil, but the co-pay is kind of high and I don't know that my doc would go for it...plus I saw some studies that seem to indicate its not much better than caffeine.
I had a LOT of apathy before I added wellbutrin. I think perhaps wellbutrin unleashed a bit of the hypomanic beast in me. Sadly, my cat just died, so I don't have any more hypomania. Although, I was able to clean up the whole bedroom and make a chocolate cake (and eat it too) today. ((((RIP KITTY))))

> Thanks for responding. Also...I dig that you have as-needed zyprexa. Whose idea was it?Pdoc's idea. Actually it hadn't occured to me to try a prn antipsychotic. You see, I get these occasional episodes of terrifying flashbacks with depersonalization, suicidal ideation, self-injury, etc. It gets messy. so I have zydis. 10 mg, "gets into your system quickly" said the pdoc. yeppers. he's right. takes about 15 minutes. But then, if you've ever sat with someone who has had an intramuscular injection of haldol, you know that it takes a good 5 mins for THAT to do the trick.
>I'm having some probs with residual agitation that the Abillfy doesn't quite fix, so I was thinking about asking for a sample pack of...something...for agitation.
klonopin?
>Why the zydis? Do you get neuroleptic side effects, or is it just the tranquilization that you get?
I just get tranquilization

>you're most welcome. thanks for your interest. As far as I know, I'm the only one taking antipsychotic candy on this forum... :)
