Dear Bleuberry,

Makes sense what you are saying.
I certainly can't use something else dragging me under by the feet. Life is hard enough as it is.

It's not the fear of dying which scares the hell out of me - it's the fear of living...

Thanks for the sound advice.
The only regret I'll have in booting the Strattera out, is it helped stabilize my weight to normal proportions.

Once again, thanks for the support!
Take care,
Maria

> Yeah, this med is wrong for you. I would taper off. Just my opinion. You can't keep going day to day in the shape you are in. Granted most meds take some adjustment, but when they make you feel worse and crying, not cool. 4 weeks is plenty of time to make a preliminary judgement.
> What if you stayed on it? Would it kick in maybe in another week or three? Could. But the odds are slim. There are actually small clinical studies that show an early response is predictive of a more complete response later, while a poor early response or negative response predicts a poor outcome or a very late outcome.

> Personally, when a med makes me worse than I started, I say dump it. I have a job, a family, and responsibilities. It's not like I have an option to just be housebound and bear it. I was feeling bad enough to start with and struggling with each hour. The last thing I need is some medicine that makes that even worse.
