For hypertensive crises, sublingual nitroglycerin is likely to be the most rapid in its onset of action. However, nifedipine seems to be more popular.
For serotonin syndrome, cyproheptadine (Periacitn) is probably the best choice. Chlorpromazine (Thorazine) is an alternative.
