Oh, I am VERY much on the side of science. I am a social scientist myself, having my masters degree in social work. I believe in science very, very deeply. What I am against is common myth-making based on very old evidence (the respiratory depression thing was more linked with barbiturates and other tranquilizers that where around before benzos).
I really dont see the point of going on here, though. There is always subjective, individual circumstance, and we have the right to freewill.
