Not everyone does well with every med. That's why we have a lot of choices. If everyone responded to one med, we wouldn't need any others.
Seroquel can be excellent for some but the dosage has to be right.
For most people:
Maximimal for sedation/sleep is 150mg
Minimum for depression is 300mg
Required for anger control and mania is 600-800
Generally, there are less side effects as you increase the dose. lower doses cause more sleepiness and the higher you go it gets better...for most people.
Good luck! If this doesn't work, don't give up. There are other good options.
