I'm a real sucker for tear-jerkers. And I must say that my eyes filled up by the time I finished reading your post.
You might as well try the doxycycline if it is otherwise innocuous. I can't account for your "blip" remission, but doxycycline does act as an anti-inflammatory in the brain along with its anti-microbial properties. Either way, I hope you strike gold. The occurrance of a blip early in treatment was considered to be a good sign by the doctors at the NIH.
I won't say good luck because I believe you will have conquered the depression within a few months with logic and faith.
