This is more the case with ADD/ADHD patients -- although it could be for anyone. Stimulants are not a last resort, but a further resort for depression treatment, however if you are susceptible to anxiety disorders this has to be approached carefully because it could be "playing with fire".This is directed at the first poster:
I don't know, these are small case studies -- admittedly interesting, but one has to remember that case studies are very small data that has been peer reviewed, but not double blind or the like.
Its one idea, but considering the anxiety symptoms that I believe you have described, C-II stimulants could really increase things in a negative direction. I know its hard when there are organic disorders in the picture as well. Lower semi-stimulants like Wellbutrin might be a better idea, but again, like one should always say, discuss this carefully with your doctor.
