Tofranil for depression?

I can't seem to tolerate any of the SSRIs or SNRIs - they actully hurt my bladder.

I was thinking of trying an older med like Tofranil. I currently take 50 - 100mg of Seroquel at night for sleep - it has helped me a little with anxiety, but I still have some lingering depression.

I tried Elavil in the past but it made me groggy and constipated. I can be constipated.

Any words on Tofranil?
